Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program

Objectives

The objectives of the Airport's DBE/ACDBE Programs are to:

  • Ensure nondiscrimination in the award and administration of contracts

  • Create a level playing field on which DBEs/ACDBEs can compete fairly for contracts

  • Ensure that the DBE/ACDBE program is narrowly tailored

  • Ensure that only firms that fully meet the eligibility standards are permitted to participate as DBE/ACDBE

  • Help remove barriers to participation of DBEs/ACDBEs in contracting

  • Assist in the development of firms that can compete successfuly in the marketplace outside the DBE/ACDBE Program
